Gospel (Alt: Battle Chant) is a supportive skill available as Paladin

Effect

Performs a hymn that will cause one of many different negative effects on enemies and will cause one of many different positive effects on party members by a regularly recurring chance within the area of effect. Maintaining this skill active will drain HP and SP. Can be toggled off by using the skill again.

While active, the Paladin's Attack Speed and Movement Speeds are decreased by 25%. The Gospel aura follows the paladin around, similar to Bard and Dancer abilities, but does not inhibit use of any skills except for Devotion.

Using this skill removes all negative effects from the Paladin.

Using Divine Glyph will cancel this skill.

  • Grants immunity to all negative status effects for 10 seconds

  • Inflicts between 2000 and 10000 fixed damage, bypassing all reductions and elements
  • Causes a Guaranteed Curse for 20 seconds
  • Causes a Guaranteed Blind for 30 seconds
  • Causes a guaranteed Poison for 60 seconds
  • Drops all DEF to 0
  • Drops all MDEF to 0
  • Reduces ATK by 75%
  • Reduces Flee by 75%
  • Reduces Attack Speed and Movement Speed by 50%
